hey there! i get the concern you expressed in your tag, and i totally understand. i actually haven’t seen much other ppg fanart so i wasn’t aware, but my reasoning behind her complexion was that instead of having dyed hair like blossom, she could just be naturally blonde, which (in suuuuper general terms) would lend her to having a lighter complexion - but of course this is just my personal experience with family members and seeing people on the street. i was also hoping having a darker skinned blossom who is both feminine and highly intelligent would help balance things out for this very issue, which is something i care about deeply :)
